Best Vitamin Supplement Can't Be
The One-A-Day Type, Right?

Recognize the High Quality Vitamin Supplements

Bingo!

The best vitamin supplement should have nutrients that're clinically proven to contain the balancing female hormones before, during and after menopause, shouldn't exceed the RDA (recommended daily allowance) level and should contain high quality natural ingredients.

So when come to vitamin and mineral supplements, I tend to choose the best ones but also tend to be a minimalist.

According to researchers in supplement and nutrition, if you eat a balanced healthy diet that's rich in fruits and vegetables, you can get all the nutrients you need from the food you eat.

That's my take as well.

BUT,

Ah....there's always a BUT somewhere.....

They (researchers) also say that no matter how well you eat, it's advisable to take some natural vitamin supplements, just in case.

Why?

That's because they also pinpoint that due to soil depletion, the overall nutrient value of foods has been declining.

You therefore may not be able to get all nutrients from the food you eat, so taking vitamin supplement will help to fill in this nutritional gap.

If that's the case, you wonder why you bother to eat food if you're not going to get enough nutrients from them? Can't you just eat any kind of food you like, then pop in the best vitamin supplement and be done with it?

Heck, no!

That's not the way it works....

You see, if you eat say, mostly junk food, it'll not provide you with the nutrients you'll get from balanced food. You then pop in the best vitamin supplement, thinking that it'll give you all the nutrients which you don't get from the junk food.

Hey, you're wrong.

That's because even the best natural vitamin supplements can't substitute for a poor diet.

Simply put, vitamin supplement is considered a supplement, not a replacement for food.

Balanced, nutritious food is still your primary source, for your body's nourishment and good health.

The Qualification

Let's look at what're the elements in a vitamin supplement that qualify it to be labeled as the best vitamin supplement.

First thing, it can't be the one-a-day type.

Simple.

You can't expect one capsule or tablet to contain all that's needed in required quantities - it would be way too large a capsule or tablet for you to swallow. So, one-a-day vitamin is probably not a good idea at all.

Second thing, for us ladies' supplements, the vitamin should contain nutrients that're proven clinically to give you the balancing female hormones before, during and after menopause. This is important as you want balanced female hormone levels in your body to function well.

Third thing, a vitamin supplement should not exceed the RDA level. Don't be surprised if you find some supplements' dosages exceed many times the RDA levels.

The excess can lead you to consume mega doses of vitamins and can result in high levels of the fat soluble vitamins (vitamins A, D, E, K) being stored in your body, which is toxic to you.

Fourth thing, the best vitamin supplement speaks for itself!

How do you know?

Easy, it's sworn on these qualities:

  • Contains natural ingredients that have been scientifically formulated to give your body the correct balance
  • Contains not only vitamins but also organic acids, enzymes and minerals
  • Have no excessive marketing hype - quietly it lets its quality shine through

Vitamin Supplements that Fill in the Nutrition Gap

You'll now ask, what's the best vitamin supplement for you, after recognizing the qualities it should have.

Well, nothing fancy, I suppose.

I take the following vitamin supplements daily to fill in my nutritional gap:

  • 1000 mg of Vitamin C
  • Vitamin C is a powerful antioxidant that's good for enhancing your immune system.

  • 400 IU of Vitamin E
  • Vitamin E helps lower your risk of heart disease by preventing buildup of fatty plaque on your artery walls.

  • At least 500 mg of calcium
  • Calcium helps me to maintain strong bones as without it, my bones can become thin, brittle and at risk of fracture, due to osteoporosis as I grow older.

Instead of taking 3 capsules or tablets of these vitamins, I take organic spirulina which contains the following vitamins, minerals, enzymes and organic acids, except Vitamin C:

  • Vitamins B1 (protects your heart, helps your nervous system), B2 (for growth and red blood cells), B3 (controls health of your nervous system) and B12 (increases IQ, prevents senility)
  • Beta Carotene (pro-vitamin), stimulates your immune system and destroys free radicals
  • Vitamin E, detoxifies your liver, prevents free radicals, prevents heart attack
  • Calcium
  • Gamma Linolenic Acid, slows your aging process, controls your blood pressure level, beautify your skin
  • Amino Acids
  • Enzymes, slows your aging process, destroys free radicals

You just need to take a separate 1000 mg of vitamin C tablet to make up for your Vitamin C intake.

Coming back to spirulina, I recommend you take the organic form as the ingredients are organically sourced i.e. without synthetic chemicals or pesticides.

It's one of the best vitamin supplements around that meets all the elements of good quality, natural ingredients I mentioned above.

I have been taking organic spirulina for about 5 years now and I find it not just a helpful vitamin supplement but also a good food supplement as well, to balance up my sometimes unbalanced diets.

A Must - a Well-Balanced, Healthy Diet

After all that's been said, I still come back to the central point -

That eating a balanced, healthy diet is a must.

Taking supplement, even the best vitamin supplement, isn't an excuse to skip eating your balanced, healthy diet.

So eat well, take supplement to fill in your nutritional gap and you're fine and good.
