Exercise For The Back Rewards You With Attractive Athletic V-Shape Back

Wanna have an Athletic V Shape Back?

My quest for a routine of toning exercise for the back leads me to discover the secret of not only having an athletic V shape back, but also strong back muscles that support a good posture.

I stumble upon the "V-shape" back secret when I notice the backs of swimmers and ballerinas which are quite often beautifully sculpted, symmetrical and agile.

And I know they've such gorgeous backs not by accident or by luck.

I realize they're the results of hard training done based on powerful exercise for the back.

The exercise tones and conditions their back muscles to strong, good ones, which are essential in helping them to excel in their respective sports.

Why I Exercise the Back?

Here's a host of reasons why:

  • When my back is well-toned like the one mentioned above, not only does it look great but it's good for my back health as well
  • A back exercise routine strengthens my back and provides strong support to my spine
  • Strong back as a result of doing powerful exercise for the back (especially for the lower back), can help to alleviate lower back pain to a great extent
  • As I condition and develop my back muscles, they'll pull my shoulders back, thus strengthening my spine, making it strong and erect. This in turn improves my overall posture
  • A strong and well-defined back adds to the V-shape I mentioned above

This is possible due to my toned back and shoulders which seem broader, thus making my back appear smaller.

  • How about showing off my attractive athletic V-shape back in a bare-back gown or top that accentuates my appeal?

By now, I'm sure you want to have that athletic V-shape back!

You Curious now to Know More about your Back Muscles?

I bet you do!

Your back muscles are made up of 4 major muscle groups:

  • Latissimus Dorsi - largest muscle group in your back that extends from under your shoulder down the small of your back on both sides

It helps your arms in pulling things towards your body or to pull yourself upward.

  • Trapezius - a flat, triangular muscle that extends out and down from the neck and down between your shoulder blades

It helps you in shrugging your shoulders like when you're saying "I don't know".

  • Rhomboids -a group of muscles between your spine and shoulder blades

It helps you to pull your shoulder blades together and helps you maintain good posture.

  • Erector Spinae -several muscles in your lower back that guard your nerve channels and help you to keep your spine erect and support your torso
