You'd Be Surprised How Just Few Helpful Free Exercise Tips Can Make?!

Insightful Perspectives

Well, helpful free exercise tips can make a huge difference to your toning exercise workout! If you just start off, the tips could really come in handy to help you out in those "difficult" and "unsure" areas.

Oh, free?

Yeah --- Doesn't mean the tips are louzy and worthless-----

N..o..o..o.....

Just the opposite, in fact.

I hail them as "jewels in the crown" of my collection.

And they come not in cheapened forms because they're my personal observations, jotting downs, inklings and experiences which I'd "faithfully" accumulated over many years of my exercise journey.

I'm sharing these "free" exercise tips here and hope that they'll truly be beneficial to you.

One more thing, I sincerely want you to reap as much result as possible from your exercise workouts.

So here we go.

Free Exercise Tip 1: Start at your Level

If you're a beginner, start at the beginner level. You then slowly and gradually progress to intermediate and advance levels.

If you exercise beyond your fitness level, you'll have injury and incur negative training time, as injury hampers you from exercising, resulting in you taking a longer time to achieve your results.

Exercise Tip 2: do the Exercise Correctly

You need to understand and know how to do each exercise correctly by looking at the key points and range of movement for the exercise.

If you exercise with a partner, get him or her to observe the way you do the exercise and let him or her correct or improve any of your incorrect or poor exercise movements.

If you're trained by a trainer , he or she will provide good sources of demos on the exercise movements.

Better still, get a mirror. Exercise in front of it - you'll be able to see "all" for yourself where you've gone wrong and correct or improve your exercise movement.

Free Exercise Tip 3: Don't do too Many Reps

Sometimes in your eagerness to get results, you think doing a lot of reps will help your muscles tone up in "record" time.

That's a big mistake - because you'll suffer discomfort, fatigue and pain, all in one row.

Discomfort, fatigue and pain are never meant to be part of your exercise bargain!

When these happen, stop exercising. If you don't, you'll be dragged down by poor technique and injury, and possibly having to rest for longer periods, slowing down your progress unnecessarily.

Exercise Tip 4: Exercise the Correct Muscles

When working and toning your muscles, make sure you work the muscles you target to work and you should feel the targeted muscles contracting.

E.g. When toning your butts with "squat & pulse" action, you should actually feel muscles in your butts contracting as you squeeze them while you squat, pulse up and down all at one go.

Free Exercise Tip 5: Check your Equipment

You should look out for any signs of damage to any equipment you'll be using, especially the exercise ball (check if there's any puncture in the ball).

If equipment is damaged, don't use it. Replace it with a new one or report the damage to the manufacturer (if under warranty) or set to repair it.

Exercise Tip 6: Breathe Naturally

Breathing is crucial in exercise. What you need is to breathe naturally.

General rule of thumb for breathing is like this: exhale when you exert the movement and inhale when you ease into position.

Don't hold your breath when you exercise as this can elevate your blood pressure, causing headaches, dizziness or even fainting.

Free Exercise Tip 7: Check your Range of Movement

Don't subject your muscles under great strain by doing exercise that's beyond your range of movement because you'll likely injure yourself.

If your muscles don't have the strength yet to do the required range of movement, build up the strength by doing the easier version first.

Exercise Tip 8: Slow and Steady Does the Job

You should exercise at a controlled, slow and steady pace to allow your muscles to contract through their full range of movement.

Don't rush doing your exercise! You'll bound to do it sloppily, without engaging your mind in it and worst, you'll be short of breath!

You're supposed to appreciate and sample the movement as you go through the motion, with correct techniques and forms, so that your muscles grow stronger steadily.

Free Exercise Tip 9: Know the Sign of Fatigue

Find out what physical signs you show when fatigued, so you can remind yourself to stop when you see them.

You'll know it when an exercise becomes harder to do and your technique suffers.

Your fatigue's probably settling in when you're:

  • Having poor performance
  • Having jerky movements
  • Rushing through your exercise

Fatigue causes poor performance, poor performance causes injury .

So, don't over stress yourself by exercising long hours or by doing too many reps without rest in between sets.

Exercise Tip 10: Never Train when Injured

You're asking for trouble if you keep on exercising when your muscles are already injured!

You'll complicate the matter with further problems of new injuries and also aggravate existing injury.

Treat your injury and then adjust your exercise to suit the injury.

Free Exercise Tip 11: Progress Gradually

Don't try to "fly" to achieve your results......

Progress at your own fitness level.

Start with exercise that's suitable for you, adjust the exercise intensity to a level that you feel comfortable with. Then increase the number of reps each week gradually.

If you "fly", your body can't cope with the sudden load you put on it! You'll risk injury and it'll set you back a few weeks in training time, you don't want that, do you?

Exercise Tip 12: Stay Motivated

Don't give up exercising if you don't see results immediately.....

Results take time - a few weeks, a few months....

Stay motivated by visualizing a picture of yourself with strong, fit, slim and toned body... and you look extremely delectable and sensual in a tight-fitting, sexy dress.....
