How to Get Rid of Broad Knees?

by Tia
(India)

I am 22 yrs old. My body type is slim, however I am heavy at some areas. My knees are very broad and my legs look kind of slant. Also the inner end of my knees have a bent appearance and looks like there is a layer of muscle on that end. Is it possible to get rid of that layer and have straight legs with round knees?

My Answer

My first impression is that your broad knees could be due to something genetic. If that's so, the tried and true combination of exercise and healthy diet may not be fully helpful here.

However, don't feel down! I always believe that the combo of exercise and healthy diet goes a long, long way to help improve one's health and even appearance.

So I encourage you to try out cardio exercise - running, skipping rope, jumping on a trampoline, swimming, walking, jogging, biking. You name it.

This exercise is a powerful way to hike up your metabolism to higher levels, making you better able to burn off the excess fat from your entire body (which would include the layer of "fat" on your knees), to blast away the fat and the weight.

Workout 3-4 times or 4-5 times per week for at least 30 minutes per session. You'll experience the goodness of this exercise.

And remember to eat healthy as well.
