How To Get Rid of Those Bad Stretch Marks!?

I have one problem that has been bothering me and my boyfriend for some time: I realize that I have stretch marks on my inner thighs. I am scared of them leaving permenant marks. Could you tell me how I can loose them (I am on low calorie diet and have recently decided to loose weight by exercising).

As for my boyfriend, he lost over 25 kilos in less than 5 months as he was on a severe diet. And now he has stretch marks all over his stomach and flabby stretched skin hanging! What can he do to remove his flabby skin and marks?

My Answer

For the stretch marks (for both you and your BF), once you've got them, it's kind of hard to get rid of them completely.

However, exercise (cardio) can help to lessen their appearance, to a certain extent.

Cardio exercise, which hikes up your metabolism to higher levels, would help you to burn off the excess fat (stretch marks are a kind of cellulite or fat deposits that's left after the weight loss) from your entire body.

Stretch marks are also the result of too much weight loss done in a short time, without proper exercise and a healthy, well-balanced nutritious diet (that promotes weight loss).

You could start doing cardio exercise, say 3-4 times or 4-5 times per week for at least 30 minutes per session and continue with the low calorie diet (but not too low though; it must be at least 1,200 calories per day).

Ditto for your BF but his daily caloric intake should be at least 1,500
calories.

And then for both of you, start strength-train for at least 3-4 times per week for 20 minutes per session, to build up more lean muscle mass into your body, to fill out the stretch marks, to give your muscles forms and shapes.

This strength-train routine for your whole body may be of help to you.
