How to Lose Stubborn Fat on the Outer Upperside of your Leg

by Anonymous

I would like to know - I have stubborn fat which is prickey and hard when I hold on to it. I am quite slim as I am 112 pounds and 5'7" but have these handles on the side of thigh and like to get rid of them. Also I am pear-shaped and do tend to have big hips than waist.

My Answer

The stubborn fat on the side of your thigh might be a form of cellulite. It's nothing fancy; just fat deposits that get clutter up in certain areas of your body.

Cellulite forms commonly in thighs, abs, hips, upper arms....

It's there whether you're thin or fat.

The recommended way to get rid of cellulite is by doing exercise. Not just any exercise. It has to be cardio exercise.

Why?

Because cardio exercise is the most powerful way that speeds up your metabolism, so you're able to burn off excess fat from your entire body (that includes the cellulite in your thigh area too....).

However, if you've already got the cellulite, cardio exercise can only help to make it less obvious. It cannot totally "erase" the cellulite.

So, I suggest you cardio 4-5 times per week for at least 30 minutes per session, to speed up your metabolism.

Do cardio exercises like walking, running, swimming, biking, dancing.....these exercises are excellent metabolism boosters.

Perhaps this page on doing effective cardio exercises can help you out.

And if you combine cardio exercise with a healthy diet, it will really help to keep your fat intake down and lessen your chance of getting more cellulite.

Pear-shaped body? No probs! The cardio exercise can help you too.

Plus this whole body toning program would help you to sculpt and firm those areas (hips especially)to sensational shapes......
